In CMSC106, there were lots of questions about what scanf does with whitespace and about the format specifiers. It's a good idea to learn to Find Out How To Test. If you're not sure what something does, or just what guarantees it has, Run Some Tests. See what happens when you feed it wrong information or skewed, or right, or whatever the question that you have about it is. So, I ran some tests on scanf. You can view my procedures and the results of the tests that I ran in text format.
As questions come in they'll be added to the end of a questions text file. I'm not going to sort these questions the same way. Many of the questions may be pointers to the other pages here, this text file is just a record of questions I received and the answers I gave so that all students can benefit from them.
